Privacy Policy

Kraken Data(“we”, “us”) is a business data platform for connecting source systems, processing datasets, and creating reports, dashboards, alerts, exports, and assisted analyses. This policy explains the information we handle and the choices available to workspace users and other affected people.

We generally act as a service provider (processor) for data a customer connects or uploads and as a controller for account, subscription, and direct support information.

• Account and workspace information - names, email addresses, password hashes, roles, memberships, preferences, and business profile details.
• Connector information - provider configuration, authorization tokens or credentials, selected source objects, schedules, and synchronization health.
• Uploaded and synchronized data - files, source records, schemas, and processing metadata supplied by or retrieved for a workspace.
• Derived content - cleaned and aggregated datasets, metrics, dimensions, reports, dashboards, exports, alerts, tasks, and shared views.
• AI workspace content - prompts, approved scripts, generated queries, results, and feedback when a workspace uses assisted features.
• Billing information - subscription and invoicing records. Payment card details are handled by the configured payment provider rather than stored in full by us.
• Usage and security information - sign-in activity, audit events, job status, errors, and technical logs used to operate and protect the service.

• To connect authorized systems and process uploaded or synchronized data.
• To build datasets, reports, dashboards, exports, alerts, and requested analyses.
• To administer workspaces, subscriptions, support, security, and service reliability.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce platform terms.

We do not sell personal information or use connected-source content to advertise to individuals.

When enabled, assisted features may send relevant prompts and workspace data to the configured AI provider to generate queries, narratives, mappings, scripts, or other requested output. Workspace administrators control provider configuration and should review generated output before relying on it.

Information is available to authorized workspace users and may be shared through links or exports they create. We also disclose information to hosting, storage, payment, connector, and AI providers as needed to deliver configured features, and when legally required or necessary to protect rights, safety, and service integrity.

We retain account, source, dataset, report, processing, and audit information while needed to provide the service, satisfy configured retention settings, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. Authorized users may delete supported resources or request workspace export or deletion through available account and support tools.

The platform uses access controls, audit logging, transport security, and protected storage for integration credentials. No system is perfectly secure. Customers are responsible for user access, source-system permissions, sharing settings, and the sensitivity of data they choose to connect or upload.

Depending on applicable law, individuals may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information and to object to or restrict processing. Platform users may contact support; people represented in customer-controlled source data should direct requests to the customer that controls that source.

The platform is a business tool and is not directed to children under 16.
